The Genoc Library started as a PHP framework to develop efficient workflow applications. Although 90% of this project was actually done and there was a test application built around this library, but as you all know, the devil is in the details. Additionally, I’ve later discovered that I simply don’t have enough time to maintain such a project, thus I decided to cut my losses and drop this project. I have to insist though, that as far as I know, the Genoc Library was quite advanced, it had workflow support, on the fly validation, encryption, you name it!
Beginning of July 2007, I’ve decided to venture into WordPress Plugins, and I’ve discovered that I can do some impressive things with a relatively small amount of time. Then it struck me, the Genoc Library can be a library of plugins instead of a huge framework that may or may not be used. I immediately started work and I implemented the first plugin, which is Eter RSS. I hope you enjoy using this plugin (and future plugins) as much as I enjoyed building it.
